The taverna & cafe “Vrisi” offers its guests an elegant and well cared space in Mirthios of Finikas Municipality, at the southern part of Crete at Rethymno prefecture, in a distance of 3km from Plakias and 34km from Rethymno city.

It took its name from an elaborate, traditional fountain which is situated next to the tavern and in the old times it was used by the local women to wash their clothes.

Its privileged position offers our guests splendid view to the Libyan Sea, the village of Plakias, Gavdos Island and majestic pictures of the sunset.

At our taverna we use fresh Cretan products, such as pure Cretan olive oil, to create delicious tastes, made with great interest according to traditional Cretan recipes.

At taverna “Vrisi’ you can enjoy delicious cooked grilled and roasted flavors.

We are open since August 2008 and we wait for you to travel together to a wonderful trip of senses, pleasure and traditional taste!

The space is available for events for up to 120 people and is open during the summer period, every day from 9:00 until midnight.
